Merry Christmas everybody! Thank you for visiting my site this year.
Christmas is a great time for music. People are making music all over the world at this time of year. For many people, it’s the one time of year they do make music—by singing Christmas songs.
I’ve been making music too. Yesterday afternoon I played lots of Christmas music for a children’s party. And in the evening I played some more Christmas music at a grown-up music party. I had so much fun making all that music.
Anyway, I thought I would share some of my music with you to wish you peace and joy this Christmas. And since it’s so cold here in the UK, what better song to play for you than one of my favourites: ‘In the Bleak Midwinter’.
Merry Christmas!

- In the Bleak Midwinter. This is my own work.
- Angels We Have Heard on High. This is also my own work.
I know the second one as ‘Angels from the Realms of Glory’, rather than the title you’ve put there. Lots of Alleluias, or perhaps A-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-le-lu-ia…
Wonderful Malcolm.
The utter pleasure that can be derived from singing such plaintive and expressive words to the beautiful musicality of the repetitive melody is a tonic to the heart and soul and mind.
Singing along here to the music inspired me again to seek the melody and the message that such music inspires.
I hope that children everywhere find joy in singing such as these each Christmastide and listen to both the rich music and the lifting message written in the words.
Thank you
This is AMAZING !!😃
